Company Profile
Jim’ll Mix It TM has supplied concrete to the construction industry for more than 20 years. We currently trade from plants in Bow and Upminster, with plans to open a third plant in Croydon in 2007. Our plants are fully computerised using the latest state of the art technology.
In addition to supplying concrete and screed we also provide a barrowing, placing and pumping service.
We have achieved Quality Assurance through British Standards Institution to BS EN 206-1, BS 8500 and ISO 9001 and we pride ourselves in the service we provide.
We operate an Environmental management system to the principals of BS EN ISO 14001:2004 as required by local authority legislation.
We offer two types of vehicles, the traditional ‘drum’ mixer and our newer mix on site ‘volumetric’ mobile plant.
BSI Standards
The business has held third party accreditation for a number of years (1998??)
We are registered with BSI’s Kitemark scheme for BS EN ISO 9001:2000 quality
Management systems.
Health & Safety
We recognise and promote the importance of Health & Safety for our employees, contractors and customers. All employees and visitors to our premises are issued with Personal Protective Equipment.
Under the guidance of a specialist Health & Safety Consultancy firm, we operate an OHSAS policy in accordance with the guidelines detailed in OHSAS 18001:1999, OHSAS 18002:2000 and BS 8800:2004.

Ready mixed concrete contains quick-lime and may cause injury by
Burning. If wet concrete comes into contact with skin, wash off
Immediately. Suitable protective clothing is required when handling wet
Concrete.
To avoid injury from splashes eye protection is required when placing concrete.
Upon drying, hardened concrete may constitute a dust nuisance.
